Founded in 2008, the Aurangabad Diabetologist Association (ADA) was established under the visionary leadership of Dr. Sanjeev Indurkar, Dr. Ajay Rotte, Dr. Mayura Kale, Dr. Deepak Bhosle, and Dr. Ahsan Sheikh. Since its inception, the ADA has been committed to improving diabetes care and education in the region. As a registered society, the ADA has made significant strides in enhancing public awareness and providing valuable resources for patients and healthcare professionals alike.
The association has been a beacon of knowledge and support, consistently organizing patient education activities aimed at empowering individuals to manage their condition effectively. Every year, the ADA proudly celebrates World Diabetes Day, raising awareness about diabetes prevention and management through a variety of community-driven initiatives..
From 2009 onwards,the ADA further solidified its reputation as a leader in diabetes care in the region by hosting several state and national-level conferences in Aurangabad. Maharashtra state RSSDI conference was conducted in 2009, while National conference of Diabetic Foot Society of India was organised in 2016.These conferences brought together renowned experts from across the country, fostering an exchange of ideas and best practices that have had a lasting impact on diabetes care in the region. .
